MARKET HIGHLIGHTS:
First-time buyers have are back in the market! The busiest price range is under $300,000.
Not only was it the best July on record, it was the strongest in recent years by a large margin!
July 2009 – 2,277 sales
July 2008 – 1,784 sales
July 2007 – 1,565 sales
July 2006 – 1,953 sales
July 2005 – 1,610 sales
Homes are selling faster with just 46 days on market as the average reported by the Realtor Association of Edmonton. SCHMIDT listings sold in half the time! Our average selling time was just Just 22 days from sign up to SOLD and for an average of 98% of list price!
Prices of single family homes are rising slowly… Each month since February 2009 has shown an increase in sales prices.
