Kathy is the owner, broker and leader of Schmidt Realty Group. She is responsible for making sure that her team and their clients receive the best possible service from the brokerage. Having spent over 15 years working directly with buyers and sellers, Kathy now focuses her time and energy on creating the long-term vision for the team and on the running the business of the brokerage. Kathy is also very involved with a number of professional organizations throughout North America and is committed to staying on the leading edge of service initiatives, marketing, and technology to ensure clients and realtors who choose to work with SCHMIDT receive nothing but the best! In addition to leading the brokerage, Kathy is also a professional coach who works with realtors and others in business to create the business and the life they desire. Larry is co-owner of the brokerage and is our technology liaison as well as project manager for new initiatives. Larry is an invaluable resource as he brings his results-oriented focus to special projects for our team and our clients.
Long-term Edmonton residents, Kathy and Larry love their city and know it like the back of their hands. Happily married since 1979, they are best friends and love to spend time off together travelling, with Italy, New York, and Canada’s west coast some of their favorite destinations. Larry has brought back from their travels a renewed interest in the culinary arts and is actively pursuing his cooking skills, with Kathy the grateful recipient! Kathy’s “souvenir” from Italy was a love of the language and in her spare time, she is studying Italian with an online tutor. And running the show at their house are their beloved toy fox terriers, Timi and Rosie. As you can see it’s a busy life, and a good one!
